Gimmick: Born to a wealthy family in Tokyo, life was always easy for the man who changed his name to Akechi Mitsuhide, the name of one of the most notorious villains in Japanese history - the man who assassinated the great Oda Nobunaga to seize his throne. While the Akechi Mitsuhide of the past had a short lived reign, this wrestler who has taken his name has one goal - to live out the reign that the Judas and Brutus of Imperial Japan never had. A ruthless bastard who cowers away from that which could hurt him, Akechi Mitsuhide wishes to claim the rank of “Shogun” in wrestling, and if he must weasel his way to the top, stabbing people in the back and picking at scraps like a vulture, then that is the path he will happily take.

Akechi walks down to the ring with the sword resting on his shoulder, stopping at the base of the ramp and stabbing the sword into the padding at ringside, leaving it standing before rolling into the ring.)
