gimmick: THE INFLUENTIAL ONE “of course i’ve got time for autographs!” chad is a pillar of the hollywood influencer community and a bonafide media star. born into a moderately successful family, his parents made their living in the softcore pornographer industry. but chad dreamt of greater fame than his father, who dreamt of their son following in his footsteps as an adult film director/star. utilizing his dashing good looks, overwhelming charisma and knack for improvisation and method acting, he broke out into the legitimate film industry as a young teen. everyone knows his name, even if they haven’t seen any of his films. he’s rich, famous, and doesn’t hesitate to remind everyone of these facts in the fake-nicest way possible.
A CHANGED MAN?

although he first arrived to the OWA with a different goal in mind, the events of season 5 have left him a somewhat changed man. in the wake of his embarrassing defeat against raivo, chad ecclestone sought out the very same group he spent so much time insulting: the catch sports academy, run by wrestling legend finnegan wakefield. alongside his once-hated rival noah krieger, chad has been training in the mystical art of the headlock. although he still possesses his love for the finer things in life, natural charisma, and talent for entertaining the masses, he has become more of a serious competitor of late. having heroically strangled a 100 pound asian woman in the ascension to the heavens match, chad is now in possession of what is arguably the company's most valued item. with a golden ticket to a future world championship at his side, the man who has rededicated himself to the sport seeks to restore his damaged reputation to its former greatness.

Appearing on the top of the ramp is Chastity Ecclestone, well-dressed and carrying the Ascension to the Heavens briefcase at her side. She pauses to look around the arena through the heavy tint of her designed sunglasses. She is soon joined by Chad Ecclestone, who is dressed in an equally expensive three-piece suit with shades, polished loafers, and a custom Patek Philippe watch on his wrist.
Linking arms, the two movie icons strut down to the ring. Chad takes the time to gladhand with several members of the audience who cheer and reach out towards him, even signing a few autographs on the way to the ring like the heroic babyface that he is.

Climbing up the steps and into the ring, Chad spreads his arms wide as Chastity removes his suit jacket, tie, and dress shirt to reveal his bare upper body. She then spins him around to face her before getting on both knees and undoing his belt, slipping his trousers off his lower body to reveal a pair of wrestling trunks waiting underneath.
After planting a kiss on her man’s cheek, Chastity sashays towards the ropes and climbs between them as Chad rolls his neck and shoulders. In an instant, the flashy, showboating actor and influencer is replaced by a man who looks like he’s all business, as his smile is replaced with a stoic expression while he awaits the bell.

MOTIVATIONS
for the people
abandoning the tragic death of his wife as his primary motivation and defense against all criticism, chadwick xavier ecclestone has come to realize his true purpose in the industry: entertaining the people, and revitalizing his corner of the OWA. though deep down he still views the entire sport as beneath him, he realizes now he must swallow his pride and begin to take things seriously if he's to have any hope of saving the company from itself.
but mainly for himself
despite any claims to a noble purpose or calling, there's little doubt that the man hasn't really changed that much. and so, as always, he puts himself first. in order to repair the damage his season 5 performance has done to his reputation as an ass-kicking action star, he's been forced to swallow his own pride and submit to the tutelage of the CSA, an organization he once insulted at every possible opportunity. with their guidance and his own determination, he has already claimed the ascension to the heavens briefcase at final destination: who knows how far he'll be able to go, as long as he can continue keeping his ego in check. (spoiler: he can't).

style: thanks to the teachings of those losers at the CSA, chad ecclestone's wrestling basics have markedly improved in a matter of weeks. no longer limited to basic maneuvers, he is more technically proficient with various holds, counters, and more elaborate submissions. that being said, he's still chad, and so he's always looking for a chance to add some of his own special sauce to everything he does. expect a lot of unnecessary flourishes and crowd work in the midst of more traditional grappling.

chad’s media presence is incredibly diversified. not only has he starred in countless feature films and high status television productions, he has also directed, written and produced his own works. his twitter and instagram accounts have several million (completely legitimate and not bought, he promises) followers. he hosts his own late night talk show, several podcasts (including his most famous, ‘that’s the BIZ!’) and even has a controlling interest in several tabloids and dirtsheets (such as ‘wrestling scandal roundup’ and ‘who’s fucking who?’).

chastity ecclestone - wife pb: maryse chastity is the younger sister of chad’s deceased ex-wife. cruel, greedy and jealous, she wasted no time in seducing her sister’s grieving husband, seeing him as her meal ticket out of the adult film industry. she always accompanies him to the ring, and will frequently interfere on his behalf by distracting the ref, attacking chad’s opponent, or slipping him his trademark gold-plated knuckles.
