Gimmick:  A multi-linguist who has a passion for both words and for hurting people, Poet is easy going and likable outside of the ring.  He is jovial on his way to the ring, will interact with fans and even go so far as to give his opponent a handshake before the match.  However, once the bell rings, it all changes.  After years of not being taken seriously, Poet has developed a nasty and sadistic streak, and will do everything in his power to hurt his opponent using any means necessary.  He will berate, mock and yell at his opponent, and even abuse the fans at ringside.  Once the match is over, the friendly demeanour returns, as if what has just happened in the ring never happened at all…

Entrance: As Poet makes his way to the ring, he flashes a wide grin and interacts playfully with fans along the way. His movements are fluid and graceful, almost hypnotic in their rhythm. But there's something unsettling about the way he carries himself, a sense that he could turn on a dime and unleash his sadistic side at any moment. Perhaps it's the way he lingers just a little too long on certain fans, a hint of malevolence in his gaze. Or maybe it's the way he seems to revel in the chaos of the arena, as if he's secretly orchestrating it all. Whatever it is, Poet's entrance is a study in contrasts - a charming facade hiding something much darker beneath the surface.

What are your character’s motivations for competing?  Having floated around the indies, and not getting the respect he feels he deserves, Poet has come to OWA to put that right.  And he will put that right using any means necessary.
