The lights in the arena fade down and glow a dim purple as the ringing of piano keys sound through the arena before cutting to purple accented black and white footage of moments throughout the career of El Jinete Palido’s career from across the world, to here in ALPHA.

We hear, and as the intro synth of Bella Morte’s Find Forever Gone bursts through the sound system, we cut back to the stage where we see RAFAEL BARRERA, clad in a black and purple jacket embroidered with a skeletal motif and a top hat, standing silhouetted by the stage lights, his back to the audience with arms extended out. And as the music fades out to a lone keystroke of the opening piano, the lights shift and he turns around. After a beat, the music shifts to grinding guitars and the droning baritone vocals, as Rafael looks out to the crowd with a toothy grin on his bearded face and rallies them on before making his way down the ramp.
“Entering first/Next, residing in Manhattan, New York weighing in tonight two hundred and thirty pounds, El Jinete Pálido… RAFAEEEEEELLLLLL BARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRERAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!”
As Rafael reaches the foot of the ramp, he gives the crowd one last look before crossing climb the ring steps. He places his top hat on the turnbuckle before walking down the apron to the adjacent corner. He climbs up to the second turnbuckle, doubles over for a second. He extends his arms out, motioning to the audience to roar, and as they do he lifts up and basks in their cheering before hopping over the top rope and into the ring. He moves to his neutral corner and starts to stretch as he awaits the bell/the entrance of his opponent.
