Gimmick:  A simple, cornfed country boy from rural Tennessee (emphasis on simple) not much is known about CLETUS’ family or childhood. Possessing an unnatural strength and endurance, he found himself traveling the South at a young age, taking on whatever labor-intensive work he could find. It’s likely he would have continued to live a simple, unassuming life were he not noticed by disgraced Kentucky Colonel, Kelvin Dubois. Immediately noticing the young man’s potential, this sleazy businessman took CLETUS under his wing and together they began to tour the countryside putting on an old-timey strongman show. Hundreds would pack the old dusty tent nightly to witness the monster of a man wrestle grizzly bears, powerlift seemingly impossible weights, take point-black air rifle shots to the belly, and crush coconuts in his iron grip. Eventually, this circus act was noticed by the Omega Wrestling Alliance, who managed to convince Col. Dubois to sign his ‘client’ to a contract with the company’s blue brand. Now, the pair are headed to the greatest show on earth: Olympus.

MOTIVATIONS
CLETUS: As a man who was considered a fat fucking freak for most of his life, CLETUS has finally found something that makes me special and appreciated: his raw strength and capacity to ignore pain. Basking in the applause of the audience, the man simply wants to put on a good show and feel appreciated. Plus he doesn’t want to let his surrogate ‘father’ down.

Equal parts Colonel Sanders, Foghorn Leghorn, crooked preacher man, carnival barker, and snake oil salesman. Untrustworthy and always looking for a way to make a dollar at someone else’s expense, he nevertheless seems to have taken a real liking to CLETUS, viewing him as the retarded son he never had.
