WRESTLING INFORMATION TRAINED BY: Even though she did not make her professional debut until she was nineteen, Ruri has been training in the ring since she was about fourteen, learning under the tutelage of her adopted father, Josiah Cruz and from time to time her dad’s old friend, wrestling legend Robert O’Sullivan. Since her debut, she has adapted her style to work with the lessons that she learned from Shane Vergo, of whom she considered his one and only student, despite whatever his opinion on the subject is. Recently, however she has supplemented her submission skills, learning from friends such as MYOJIN and Niko Nishijima. IN RING STYLE: Ruri was initially trained in the Hyperforce style of wrestling that her father was trained in. However, as she has grown as a competitor, at the same time as her mental state declined and recovered, she has adapted that style to fit her more destructive nature. In the ring, Ruri’s main focus is to inflict as much damage as possible, to make them feel physically the way she does inside. This is done through various suplexes, or wearing her opponents limbs down until she can lock in her main submissions. The lights glimmer with blue and white for a moment as a chill crosses the arena and “Sedai no Scream” by Demondice begins to play before lights cut out.

Soon, the stage is illuminated with a blue tint as thin smoke fills the stage and fake snow begins to fall as a spotlight hits the stage. We roadie run up the stage, from the back emerges “The Cold-Hearted Kitsune” RURI KUZUNOHA, who stands in the middle of the spotlight, just letting the snow fall over her, looking out at the crowd, who cheer for the Forlorn Dreamer. Ruri is clad in black half long, half short tights with a blue and gold design, matching top, kneepads and boots; as well as her usual sukajan. With her hands in the pockets of her jacket, she looks around at the arena around her and just takes in everything, a look of confidence on her face. Eventually, Ruri starts to slowly walk down the ramp in her usual swagger.
ANNOUNCER “Entering first/next, from Culver City, California, weighing in tonight at one hundred and forty-pounds… She is The Cold-Hearted Kitsune… RUUUUUURIIIIIIII KUUUUUZUUUUUNOOOHAAAAA!!!”

Ruri continues down the ramp, maintaining her stride until she reaches the bottom of the ramp, where she stops for a moment to look at the ring. Ruri then cirlces around the ring until she crosses the corner to the hard camera-facing side of the ring. From there, Ruri grabs the bottom rope and looks out to the crowd.

Ruri hops up onto the apron and then pulls herself up into a seated position balancing on the top rope. She looks out to the crowd for a second, before flipping backwards into the ring. Ruri then moves toward the far corner and climbs up to the ropes, placing her foot on the top turnbuckle.

She places her hand over her brow and looks out at the crowd, before letting out a confident roar. She points out to the crowd with a grin before kicking off the turnbuckle, turning around and dropping to the mat to wait for the match to begin.
