For TV shows...the Law and Order franchise, CSI: Miami, Battlestar Galactica (the classic 70s version), classic anime (Macross, Bubble Gum Crisis, Dirty Pair, Battle of the Planets, etc), Star Wars Rebels, Man vs. Food.
For movies however...anything Stephen King or David Lynch, Classic horror movies by Universal, the Princess Bride, the Star Wars franchise, the Marvel movie franchise (and by that I'm including the time that Chris Evans was the Human Torch movies as well)

TV-CSI New York, Stranger Things, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Law and Order (the Jack McCoy era only), Twin Peaks, cooking shows, anything involving history.
Movies-Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, the 1990 "Stephen King's IT" mini-series, The Dark Tower, the Marvel MCU, Aquaman, the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and a few others.
